There’s this phrase I love that doesn’t readily translate from the Japanese. It describes someone who is faux “European” but in a way that’s different from our term “Euro-trash.” Whereas Eurotrash specifically denotes a wardrobe and typically an actual European, the Japanese term is more like, “that bitch think she French or som’n.” (via ill iterate: NY Times, WTF?)
